The purpose of a Public Hearing is to provide all individuals affected by these bylaws an opportunity to be heard by Council on the matters contained in the bylaws. Persons wishing to speak for or against a bylaw will be given opportunities and will be required to state their full name and city of residence. Please note that all written submissions in response to this consultation will become part of the public record and available for public inspection, including names and cities of residence. Further consideration of these bylaws will take place at the next regular Council meeting.

Maple Ridge Official Community Plan Amending Bylaw No. 8039-2025

Purpose: To redesignate the subject property from Industrial and Rural Residential to Industrial.


Maple Ridge Zone Amending Bylaw No. 8040-2025


First Reading: December 9, 2025

Purpose: To rezone the subject property from RS-3 (Single Detached Rural Residential) and M-2 (General Industrial) to M-2 (General Industrial), to permit an Unenclosed Storage use.

Maple Ridge Official Community Plan Amending Bylaw No. 7781-2021


First Reading: December 14, 2021

Purpose: The purpose of the Official Community Plan Amending Bylaw is to introduce a new area plan for the Lougheed Transit Corridor. The Bylaw will introduce new land use designations and redesignate the lands within the neighbourhood area roughly between Lougheed Highway and Dewdney Trunk Road from the City’s western boundary to the Town Centre at 221 Street. New land use policies and design guidelines are also being introduced to the Official Community Plan that will guide the long-term growth of Maple Ridge's western gateway and help meet the city's provincial housing targets.

Maple Ridge Official Community Plan Amending Bylaw No. 8087-2026

Purpose: The purpose of the Official Community Plan Amending Bylaw is to introduce a new area plan for the North 256 Street Industrial Area. The Bylaw will redesignate the lands within the area north of 128 Avenue and roughly between 256 Street and Alouette Road for industrial use. New land use policies and design guidelines are also being introduced to the Official Community Plan that will guide the long term growth of new industrial lands in the area, while recognizing the existing institutional uses and protecting sensitive environmental features.
