  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the minutes of the March 24, 2026, Committee of the Whole be adopted as circulated.

Summary presentation on the first year of the City's Short Term Rental Program.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the April 7, 2026, report titled "Short-Term Rental Regulations – Year One Update" be forwarded to the next Regular Council Meeting.

Update on the McKenney Creek Restoration and Enhancement Plan, outlining ecological improvement efforts, responses to development and climate impacts, project context, key issues, and next step.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

Overview of how the Continuous Improvement Centre of Excellence has supported staff in improving internal services and community service delivery over the past 18 months.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the April 7, 2026, report titled "Kanaka Business Park Landscape Maintenance Repeal Bylaw" be forwarded to the next Regular Council Meeting.

To appoint a Chief Election Officer and a Deputy Chief Election Officer to conduct the 2026 General Local Election.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the April 7, 2026, report titled "Appointment of Chief and Deputy Chief Election Officer" be forwarded to the next Regular Council Meeting.

To consolidate two existing election bylaws and introduce election sign regulations for the 2026 General Local Election.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the April 7, 2026, report titled "Election Bylaw and Sign Amendment Bylaw" be forwarded to the next Regular Council Meeting.

Resolution to Exclude the Public

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    The meeting will be closed to the public pursuant to Sections 90(1) of the Community Charter as the subject matter being considered is related to the following:

    Section 90(1)(b) -  personal information about an identifiable individual who is being considered for a municipal award or honour, or who has offered to provide a gift to the municipality on condition of anonymity;

    Section 90(1)(i) - the receipt of advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose;

    Section 90(1)(k) - negotiations and related discussions respecting the proposed provision of a municipal service that are at their preliminary stages and that, in the view of the council, could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality if they were held in public;

    Section 90(1)(l) - personal information about an identifiable individual who is being considered for a municipal award or honour, or who has offered to provide a gift to the municipality on condition of anonymity;

    Any other matter that may be brought before the Council that meets the requirements for a meeting closed to the public pursuant to Sections 90(1) and 90(2) of the Community Charter or Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
