    THAT the February 24, 2026, Regular Council Agenda be approved as circulated.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the following minutes be adopted as circulated:

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the items contained in the February 24, 2026, Regular Council Consent Agenda be received into the record.

The following motion is released from the February 3, 2026, Closed Council Meeting:
 
THAT Matt and Deanna Laity be awarded the 2026 Heritage Site Award;
THAT Gina Armstong and Victoria Vancek be awarded the 2026 Bernice Gehring History Hero Award;
THAT Raymond Nakamura be awarded the 2026 Sheila Nickols Award;

THAT the Whonnock Post Office be awarded the 2026 Stewardship of a Community Cultural Asset Award;
THAT the 1st Haney Cub Scouts be awarded the 2026 Youth Heritage Award; and
THAT this resolution be immediately released to those affected at the discretion of the CAO or their designate and publicly released on the Regular Council meeting agenda of February 24, 2026.

THAT the neighbourhood park located at 11270 Pazarena Place be named “Pazarena Park”.

Housekeeping amendments to the Maple Ridge Business Licencing and Regulation Amending Bylaw No. 8022-2025.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Maple Ridge Business Licencing and Regulation Amending Bylaw No. 8091-2026 to Amend Bylaw 8022-2025 be adopted.

To outline proposed administrative improvements through a new Officer and Delegation of Authority Bylaw and a new Fundraising Policy that establish clear roles and consistent organizational practices.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Maple Ridge Officer and Delegation of Authority Bylaw No. 8048-2025 be adopted.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Council adopt Fundraising Policy 5.61.

A repeal bylaw terminating the RCMP Housing and Support Services Cost-Share Agreement with Pitt Meadows.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Municipal Support Services Agreement Repeal Bylaw No. 8094-2026 be given first, second and third reading.

Request for an increase to the Agriculture Association’s Operating Funds and funding to support its 125th Anniversary celebration.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Council approve a 1 year 2% increase to the Operating Funds for the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Agriculture Association Agreement effective January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, while the City reviews the granting process for community groups.

     

     

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Council approve a one-time ask of $19,750 for 2026 to support Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Agriculture Association’s 125th Anniversary celebration.

Update on progress for implementation of key results under Council’s Strategic Plan 2023-2026 for the fourth quarter of 2025.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Council approve the report titled “Update on the Council Strategic Plan for Q4 2025”, dated February 17, 2026.
