  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Kanaka Business Park Landscape Maintenance Repeal Bylaw No. 8102-2026 be given first, second and third reading

To consolidate two existing election bylaws and introduce election sign regulations for the 2026 General Local Election.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Maple Ridge Sign Amendment Bylaw No. 8101-2026 be given first, second and third reading.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Maple Ridge Election Bylaw No. 8096-2026 be given first, second and third reading.

Summary presentation on the first year of the City's Short Term Rental Program.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the report dated April 7, 2026, titled “Short-Term Rental Regulations – Year One Update”, be received for information.

Update on the McKenney Creek Restoration and Enhancement Plan, outlining ecological improvement efforts, responses to development and climate impacts, project context, key issues, and next step.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Council receive this report for information; and 
    THAT staff report back to Council with a recommended McKenney Creek Restoration and Enhancement Plan for Council’s consideration and direction.

Overview of how the Continuous Improvement Centre of Excellence has supported staff in improving internal services and community service delivery over the past 18 months.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Council receive for information the report titled “Innovation Report: Continuous Improvement Impacts” dated April 7, 2026.

To appoint a Chief Election Officer and a Deputy Chief Election Officer to conduct the 2026 General Local Election.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Carolyn Mushata be appointed as the Chief Election Officer for the 2026 City of Maple Ridge Local Government General Election and; 
    THAT Tonya Polz be appointed as Deputy Chief Election Officer for the 2026 City of Maple Ridge Local Government General Election.
